One of the nicest things about this ‘job’ is that we get to know about lots of nice acts that people do to make others happy. We thought we’d share some lovely things that people have been doing for their dad’s. Whether it’s buying the compostable baking paper to use while making cakes and cookies or buying a shaving brush for the dad that showed them how to shave “the traditional way” when they were growing up, giving a gift of a biodegradable travel cup or a coconut bowl and cooking spoon, there are lots of ways that people have chosen to share their love and respect in a sustainable way that won’t harm our planet.
This father’s day (2020) will be different to any other for so many people. For me personally, I can’t visit my dad today as I am not able to enter his home during Covid-19 lockdown. We were able to see him in the garden yesterday when we celebrated at a distance but the weather today means that he will be on his own.
However you are celebrating this father’s day, whether it’s with your dad, on the phone or on a video call or by remembering the dads that are no longer with us, we wish you a very happy day and hope you enjoy this photo of one very special dad sitting on a bench and catching up with an old sailor in Spain!
